Gold-Bar Easter Cross

Bonus, bonus post... We started out making Egg-Carton Blooms + Kid’s Easter Table. But we had so much fun exploring with the extra materials, that we created this Easter Cross from simple party straws and pipe cleaners. We love the gold + green combo, but any pipe cleaner + party straw will do. Such a great craft for Easter Sunday.
Supplies
Pipe cleaners
Gold party straws
Scissors
DIY Gold-Bar Cross
Cross
1. Cut 1 gold straw into tubes: 1 long, 3 short.
2. Cut 1 pipe cleaner into thirds.
3. Push all 3 pipe cleaners through longest straw tube, so “prongs” poke out the top.
4. Bend 1 prong to the RIGHT. Bend 1 prong to the LEFT. Fold end caps on each prong.
5. Add short tubes.
6. Trim + tuck excess fuzz.
Bracelet
Follow the steps above with this variation: Use 2 pipe cleaners. Cut slightly longer pieces for the LEFT + RIGHT prongs to create wrap-around.
