Our Splashy, Grassy, Dirty, Sandy, Juicy, Lovely Summer
Whew! What a summer in DC. It was my first time to truly “summer” at home with two boys under the age of four. Fist bump. Like most rookie SAHMS, I may have s l i g h t l y underestimated this season. I planned my at-home sensory + preK play. But by early July, I tossed my plan, and whipped up a new one. The result was a summer truly spent outside. So sweaty, so fun, so unforgettable. Here’s our highlight reel of all things splashy, grassy, dirty, sandy, juicy and lovely.
